The following requirements must be completed prior to working a 2025 MLB Summer Camp for the Cincinnati Reds, Cleveland Guardians, Detroit Tigers, Milwaukee Brewers, and/or Minnesota Twins through Baseball Done Right:

BACKGROUND CHECK

1. • A background check must be completed prior to working your first camp and every two years following. Everyone should complete the background check below information. However, only those who need to be pushed through the system will be done so.

     1. 1. Go to http://opportunities.averity.com/BDRLLC

        2. Read/Accept Terms and Conditions to continue.

        3. Fill in all required information.

        4. Certify that all information is accurate.

        5. Agree to the conditions, disclosure, etc.

   • Once completed, no other action is required. If you have a background check in the past year that you’d like to send instead, please email to twells@baseballdoneright.com.

ABUSE AWARENESS FOR ADULTS

• The Abuse Awareness for Adults Course must be completed yearly.

  1. 1. Go to http://usabmobilecoach.com

     2. Click to sign-in at the upper right corner.

        • If you don’t have an account, create an account.

     3. In your ACCOUNT, select your organization as Baseball Done Right in the drop down.

     4. At the top left click on EDUCATION.

     5. Next click on COURSES.

     6. Finally, click on the Abuse Awareness for Adults Course to complete.

     7. You will find it in your account if you need to leave and come back later. The course takes around 20-30 minutes to complete.

     8. Once complete, you do NOT need to send me anything. I can see the people who completed in the system if you completed step 3 above.

• Exceptions to the above

  1. 1. If you’ve completed it for another organization, follow step 3 above so that it shows in the Baseball Done Right section on USA Baseball.

     2. If you’ve completed the SafeSport Course for another organization, you do not need to complete the Abuse Awareness Course. SafeSport covers this.

WORK MARKET (PAYROLL)

• Payroll will be through a system called Work Market. Most everyone who has worked previously should have already received an email to get into their account and ensure everything is correct. For those of you who are new, please follow the steps below.

  • 1. Go to https://www.workmarket.com/recruiting-campaign/580EE5E0F73ECAC90E234BC982FEA7B3BCD428C73BDF02144870879674D4BC16 to sign-up for your account.

    2. You will need to complete:

       • Bank information for direct deposit

       • Tax information

       • Accept the MLB Abuse Policy form once reading through it.

       • Accept the Baseball Done Right summer guidelines once reading through it.

MAKESHIFT (SCHEDULING)

• Once you have a Work Market account, you will receive an email with information on how to get into your MakeShift account. This is a summer calendar that shows when you work, request time off, show availability, etc. Nothing needs to be done at this time. Once the Work Market account is created, you’ll receive an email for next steps with MakeShift.
